Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu Transfer to hotel and tour briefing at evening.

Arrival in Kathmandu pickup from airport/bus station and transfer to hotel evening briefing for kailash yatra. we will provide you duffle bags, backpack, and jackets. Overnight in hotels.

Day 2 - After breakfast sightseeing in Kathmandu after lunch Fly to Nepalgunj.

After breakfast sightseeing in Kathmandu Pashupatinath, Jal Narayan, Guheswari Temple and shyambhunath, after lunch Fly to Nepalgunj. Afternoon After lunch drive to Kathmandu airport fly to Nepalgunj by scheduled flight at 4pm. Nepalgunj will be hot and humid in may to September Overnight hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 3 - Early morning flight to Simikot 50 minute and rest day in simikot.

Early morning flight to Simikot 45minute . Nepalgunj to Simikot (3000m/10000ft): Early morning departure with packed breakfast to Nepalgunj airport. Fly to Simikot in a small plane over a 50 minutes flight. Relax and acclimatize in Simikot with local temple visits, and gentle hikes. Overnight in a nice guesthouse.

Day 4 - After breakfast flight to Hilsa border and drive to Taklakot (3700mt)2hrs.

Simikot-Hilsa-Taklakot (3800m/12500ft): After breakfast fly by helicopter to Hilsa border, clear Customs and Immigration on both Nepal and Tibet side. Drive to Taklakot in 2 hour, also known as purang, and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring the local market. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5 - After breakfast drive to Manasarovar (4500mt)(70km)1hrs.

After breakfast drive to (70km) Mansarvar (4500m) and manasarovar parikarma, the abode of god will be a lifetime achievement. Puja, Havana, Worship, Meditation & Holy bath in Mansarovar Lake.O/N chhuei ghumba. Taklakot to Mansarovar (4600m/15000ft): About 70km drive with first sighting of Mt Kailash, Rakshas Taal, and blue waters of the majestic Lake Manasarovar. We will drive around the lake. Lake Manasarovar is considered the holiest of all the Tibe many lakes. According to Hindu and Buddhist cosmology, the four great rivers of the Indian sub-continent (the Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Ganges (Karnali) and Indus (Sindhu) all flow from its shores. This day offers a wonderful opportunity to visit the great lake and take in the spectacular views of Mt. Gurula Mandhata (7694m) to the south and Kailash (6638m) to the north. From there we will visit the Thugo monastery before heading to the Chiu monastery for an overnight stay. A short acclimatization hike to Chiu Monastery will allow the body to adjust further, and also help see the beauty of this small worship-place and a panoramic view of the Kailash region. Overnight in a comfortable guesthouse by the lake.

Day 6 - After breakfast drive to Yamdhwar 48km and trek to Diraphuk(4890mt)6hrs.

After breakfast drive to Yamdhwar 48km via darchen and trek up to Diraphuk(4890m) 12km O/N Guest House. Manasarovar to Darchen (4600 m/15500 ft): In the morning, the our staff will set up private bathing tent on the shores of Lake Manasarovar for the traditional sacred bath most pilgrims perform before Parikarma/Kora/circumambulation of the holy mountain. Once so cleansed, we will perform the Fire Ceremony with Mantra Chants. Later, we head north towards Darchen, a village considered the base camp for Kailash and then drive to Tarboche (Yamdhwar) 8km and trek up to Deraphuk 12km (4890m) O/N. Our first day of hike around Kailash begins at Tarbuche/Yama Dwar area. As we make our way along the route we pass numerous chortens (stupas) as well as the sky burial site of the 84 Mahasiddas. We will walk through the Yama Dwar – the Gate of the God of Death to start the Parikarma. We will also take in wonderful views of cascading creeks, streaming waterfalls and the mighty west face of Kailash. We will pass the Chukku monastery and arrive at the Dirapuk monastery about six hours later, where we will stay in the Hotel. A short hike to see the awe inspiring north face of Kailash will be done after some rest and snacks. Overnight in new hotel.

Day 7 - After breakfast Trek to Zuthulphuk 22km. (4790m) via Gaurikunda 10hrs.

After breakfast Trek to Zuthulphuk 22km. (4790m) via Gaurikunda walk approximately 10 Hours diraphuk to Zhuthulphuk (4820 m/15800 ft. Hike 22 km/14 mi): The hardest day of the pilgrimage is also the holiest. We will cross Shivasthali - a rocky expanse dotted with stone cairns draped with the clothes left as offerings by the Tibetan pilgrims. Further hiking ascends up to Dolma-La pass (5700 m/18700 ft) and a marvelous sight of the emerald colored Lake Gaurikunda. After a short break at the top of the pass to put prayer flags, we will head down the steep trail to our eventual campsite at Zhuthulphuk monastery (4820 m), site of the ‘Cave of Miracles’ where the greatest Tibetan yogi Milarerpa meditated and developed the powers of flying. Along the way we will be having wonderful sights of high peaks, streams, waterfalls, expansive valley, and mountain caves. Overnight in a comfortable guesthouse.

Day 8 - After breakfast trek to chandu 3hrs and drive to Taklakot 2hrs via Mansarovar.

After breakfast trek to chandu 3hrs and drive to Taklakot 2hrs via Mansarovar hike 6 km Zhuthulphuk to Taklakot (3800m/12500ft): On the last day of our Kailash Parikarma, a four hour gentle downhill walk along the East River brings us to where it emerges onto the plains of Barga, where our bus will pick us up. After quick lunch at Darchen we will drive back to Taklakot. Overnight in hotel.

Day 9 - After breakfast drive to Nepal border and fly to simikot- Nepalgunj-kathmandu.

After breakfast drive to Nepal border ,as soon as possible fly by Helicopter to Simikot and then same day connect fly to Nepalgunj and kathmandu. After breakfast we drive to Hilsa border and complete immigration and customs formality on both, Tibet and Nepal side, and fly by Helicopter to Simikot. At simikot we fly by small plane to Nepalgunj. In Nepalgunj we take the scheduled flight to Kathmandu. Evening farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

      Detail Itinerary:

Day10: After kailash Yatra start Muktinath Yatra  drive to pokhara via Manakamana Temple(200m).

Day11: Early morning flight to Jomsom then drive to Muktinath Temple (By Jeep/Bus). After Pooja  drive back to Jomsom.

Day12: Early morning flight back to Pokhara, Afternoon sightseeing in pokhara.

Day13: After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu.

           Booking Terms & Condition:
The booking terms and conditions contain thorough information that you need to know, so we encourage you to read them very carefully before contracting with Mountain Great Adventure Pvt.Ltd.

The following booking terms and conditions apply for all trips organized by us.

  1. Good health and physical fitness is required for all trips. So we would like to advise you to check your health condition before you book the trip.
  2. Travellers trekkers must have Travel insurance which covers accidents, emergency evacuation in case of you need to be rescued.
  3. When you confirm the trip, we need 30% advance of the total trip cost with a copy of your passport for reservation of the flight Ticket, Hotel Accommodation and trekking permit process. The rest of the payment you will make when you got it your kailash permit.
  4. You may use any means of payment such as western union, bank transfer, visa card or master card.
    After receiving a copy of your passport and the 30% advance then we will send you the final confirmation email.

  5. If you cancel your booking after you have paid or deposited for booking, the following percentage will be charged for cancellation:-

    If you cancel your booking after you have paid or deposited for booking, the following percentage will be charged for cancellation.
    There will be a cancellation fee of 30% for any cancellation Four weeks prior to tour departure date, 60% two weeks prior to tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.

Note: But you may extend your trip without cancellation and charge till one year but we need to be informed through mail at least 4 weeks before the trip departure & you will have to pay the increased amount if the cost of the trip increased due to increment on the Local stuff used in the Trip.
